Petzl Evo Summit Ice Axe 52cm Condition : excellent (not had much use since purchased) Very comfortable winter walking axe. Unlike some other models, this fits nicely in the hand, and does not become uncomfortable across a longer day of winter hiking, even for those who don't wear gloves. Please note, this is not a climbing axe - it is designed for support/stability, step cutting and self arrest. It has proved an essential companion, for both trips to the Cairngorm and Trossach mountains, on numerous occasions.
